Hi guys
This morning I decided to try to put my cannula in a different place. I usually use my tummy and the left/right sides of my back just above the waist; but I decided to give my tummy a break I'd try the top half of my bum cheek.
Since then, my BGs have been higher than normal, I've gone up to 12 before breakfast and to 16.5 after breakfast even though it's the same breakfast I always have and I know how much insulin to take for it. I've inspected the site and it looks like nothing is wrong with it.
It's not that far off the spot above the waist I would usually use on my back, can that little bit of movement really make that much of a difference in the absorption of the insulin? Does anyone else use the same areas? Have you guys noticed any difference in BG levels?
If it doesn't come down before lunch I'll change the site to my tummy, but I'd rather this worked... :|
