Hi everyone
I recently started using a app called
Carb manager and have set it to
70 diabetes carbs a day which I stick to nevee go over and some days even below but under this reading I get
For example 69 diabetes carbs
Total carbs 91
Can anyone explain this where does the extra 22 carbs come from

Also does anybody know if Nicorette quick mist spray has any effect on BG reading

Also is 70 carbs a day to high or to low
Or can I go lower carbs

Thanks in advance

Are you in the US or using a US app? It could be the difference between net carbs and total carbs.

In the US (which is where the app may be from), fibre is included in the carb total and in the UK and Ireland, fibre is excluded from the carb total.
This may be the difference Guzzler is referring to.

Judging by the spelling of ‘Support Center’ on the app developers webpage, I’d say they are American so I think the answers everyone gave are correct.

I would get a simpler app (Mysugr seems popular) or simply count the carbs on the food labels and get the Carbs and Cals app or book.

I would ignore calories too but that's just me.

I use carb manager found it pretty useful I took it as the difference is between net carbs and total carbs it is an American app I do not use it for tracking blood sugars I use Mysugr for that.
