How should I get rid of used test strips, lancets and cotton balls? I don't feel that they should be put out with the rubbish.

On a side note I seem to be mainly under 7.0 bg readings. Mainly testing before every meal though not after.
Only had 2 readings above that in the last couple of weeks. Once at 9.9 after ham eggs and beans, the other this morning at 8.6 but went down to 6.0 2 hours after after bacon and eggs.

I was getting disappointed at readings above 6 but I guess 7 is a better high to aim for. Still haven't figured out what affects me though but looks more like small portions rather than no carbohydrates.

Seeing the diabetic nurse tomorrow for the first time after testing and would like to keep off medication.

I get a sharps container on prescription. I I'm out, I use an old test strip container until I get home.

Yep, that's what I do with lancets.

Test strips and cotton balls in the rubbish bin.
