Diverse & Gender-Neutral support?

I believe, but apologies if I am wrong, when I signed up I had to provide my gender.
The choices I remember were male or female.
This does not suggest support for gender neutral.

In a similar way, whilst I understand it may help with some responses, I am uncomfortable providing my age range and would rather have the option to chose “rather not say”

In Response, information gathered at sign-up is not migrated onto the forum profile. This, in addition to everyone else's high level, anonymised data is helpful to DCUK in their quest to provide appropriate content and services to their members.

Each member's account, in Personal Settings provides the option to declare gender (and lots of other stuff) or leave it unspecified, so the member makes their own choice. Some even select erroneous options for some reason, but again, that is their own choice.

Anyone who would like to change their personal details should go to their Account Settings and do so. The more accurate information declared, the higher the chance of a person receiving appropriate responses to any query.

Thank you! ..I’ve been diabetic since I was 8 (Now 25) and I am now dealing with complications through not adhering to my care/support. I feel passionate about making some changes to avoid this for others, just not sure what this is yet.
But where do gender and social media come in? How would this affect adherence to treatment and prevention of complications? Teenagers of all genders are known for having more trouble managing their diabetes than either young children or adults.
