Dizziness and blurred vision

I am newly diagnosed type 2, and have been put on medication. I wake up in the morning really dizzy and blurred vision and have vomited a few times, this does not go away until late evening 7 pm ish after my dinner, has anyone else experienced this and what can I do to help it.

Hello and welcome, @mandyfurlong . I am so sorry you have waited so long for a response.
Are you only on Metformin for your diabetes? Do you have any other medication?
Some people do have gastric problems when they first start on Metformin. If your symptoms correspond with the start of medication you could ask your GP to change medication.

What are your finger-prick blood glucose readings like?

Yes I am just on metformin, my BR are between 7 and 7.9 during day and before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning they have shot up to over 10
