i am pre diabetic. What i am asking is yesterday i ate about 6 mouthfuls (not big)of my grand daughters cereal about an hour and a half after this i came over very dizzy and my eyes went blurred ,this lasted a few hours, could this be because of the cereal or my age i am 55 and going through the change.Do not want to keep going to doctors with the least little thing. I have not been told much about diabetes which is why i would like to hear from you

I think you should go to the doctors - they are paid to look after you and you should not think that your are wasting their time. It doesn't matter that it may be nothing (all the better). Go put your mind at rest.

Regards Val

If your practise has a Diabetic nurse, it would probably be easier to get to see her. They tend to be better qualified than the doctors and in my case would save a wait of 3 - 4 weeks unless I was dying, lol
