Type 2 Dizzy spells & other stuff due to Diabetes

For the past 6- 8 months I have been experiecing minor dizzy spells. The room doesn't feel as if its spinnning, rather i feel light headed .
Often, my lower stomach will feel differt and 30 - 60 mins after I start feeling dizzy I have the urge to have a bowel movement, and post this i feel better. I am on blood pressure medication but my blood pressure is stable and I am a diabetic managing it through diet control, no meds.

Any idea what it could be, i sometimes feel hot / warm, regardless of the temp. GP wasn't helpful.

The symptoms you describe are usually something to do with fluctuating blood glucose levels.
You are not on meds, so it has to be your diet, are you low carbing? If you are, are you eating enough full fat, enough salt? Drinking enough water?
 
I think you should see a different doctor as there may be blood tests that will help solve this puzzle. I think you need some thorough diagnostic work, including lots of questions and feeling your tummy etc. There's nothing wrong with getting a second opinion.

One possibility is irritable bowel syndrome or something else to do with your colon but I am really just making a stab in the dark here.
