DM management app????

Hi guys,

Me being me ( ie, Aspie), I want to use an app to bring all DM information together. I know I can use diasend, but it doesn't have ability to easily record exercise or period or stress. Animas should allow you to integrate a food database, but I'm still working on it. So, food recording would be good, too.

Do you have any experience with the Android apps for DM ?

I think I like ezbds, but it's hard to evaluate many apps without actually subscribing up to them; by the end of the week I could end up with accountsin 50+ apps and no one that I actually like...

Thanks!!!

I am with you on this. Looking for an app that will monitor BP, weight, exercise, sleep, etc.
Tries Diabetes PA, which is, I believe, part of DCUK products. It registered me but when I enter personal details closes the app. When I reopen it it asks me to enter personal details again (age, gender, diabetes type, etc) then the infinite loop happens and I have to start all over again. Perhaps this is an issue @Administrator could look at.
In the meantime, I am alternating between using a Garmin fitness tracker and synching with My Fitness Pal. Not really that satisfactory, so thinking of going back to old fashioned spreadsheets.
Any suggestions from members who have similar requirements for a reliable app?

Ahhh... As far as know, T1 and T2 tend to have different apps, too, just to complicate things a little bit further.

Those without DM, and with no loved one affected by DM really have zero understanding of the fact that working on DM control is a second full-time job. Only you don't get any breaks here...

It's my birthday, and I feel really, really ******... Ironically, all presents are chocs. Except for my hubby: he is giving me Xdrip. (Really, is it a present for me or for HIMSELF?)

And my employer is still being ... Well, it looking like we will end up in court, so I think I should avoid posting anything about my employer on social media.

Oh, yes, and I read results of a massive (thousands and thousands of participants) study yesterday. Even then lucky ones with HbA1c < 7.0 are twice as likely to die younger. Those with HbA1c >9.1 are EIGHT times as likely.

This BLOODY DIABETES is literally ruining my life!!!

It's in moments like this I'm really wondering why do we even bother.

I do understand, with a child of a dear friend as T1.
I realise your need for the right technology is greater than mine, though.
Sorry if I crashed your thread, but I did believe we could have been united in our search for solutions.
My bad.

Thank you, Tim!

And no, Pipp, you didn't crash my thread. I just wanted to point out the significant matter, because I wasn't sure if you were aware of the difference.

Apologies.
It was not apparent from your original post that you were asking a T1 specific question.
I hope you find an acceptable solution, and that your birthday improves.
Best wishes.
