back to nurse this morning and good results ive lost a bit of weight only 4.4pounds but to me thats good cos the weight was worrying me she said it was cos of different lifestyle in spain we just had 4 weeks and i felt good for it.my doctor told me i was type 1 and people were asking why i wasnt on insulin but the nurse said no you are type 2 so its just diet and exercise.anyway we have decided we are going to live in spain this time next year we are both retired and thought about it hard so looking forward to that ihave children and grandchildren here and in spain so we wont be alone.hope you are all well bye for now Jeannie

Bit worrying when your healthcare proffesionals can't agree what type you are!!Please take the time to check out the Spanish healthcare system thoroughly.I don't know if it is expensive or not over there.Best of luck with your move.

had to have screening on my eyes today(retinopathy)eyes are perfect he said .in reply to sugarless sue have been in touch with health authorities about health care over in spain we get normal health care same as uk cos we are both pensioners and my husband is disabled but have to get card e125 only on a serious incident that we have to pay a certain amount hope that wont happen too soon in the future.what i would like to ask is if anyone knows if spain has its own diabetic forum if not i can stay on this one and keep in touchits a long way off yet but i have loads of things to sort and find out about dont want to leave all till the last minute thanks for reading this Jeannie
