having never done a long fast
(except a 5 day fast many years ago before
diagnosis)
i would like to know
do any of the numbers(that were purposely measured) go back to where\
they were before the fast?
(at this time i do a 23 hour daily fast
with the OMAD)

Hi,

I notice from your profile your on insulin? What regime are you prescribed?

im not interested in a longer fast
but i'm curious about
if the numbers that improved
just go back to where they were
if the person stops the fast

I think the OP is asking if the results are long lasting or if the BGs etc just revert to what they were before the fast shortly after the fast ends.

Basically. (If I understand this correct.) depends on two factors.

Is your basal insulin (Lantus.) the correct dosage for you? If your fasting, it's a good chance to test your basal rate.
Have you bolused correctly for the amount of carbs in the meal your having to break the fast..?
