I'm 14 years old. 171 cm. 52-53 kgs. I think I may have diabetes. My family has a history of diabetes. My parents personally don't have it, but my grandfather from my mom's side of the family had it and my grandmother from my dad's side of the family has it. For about a week or so, I've noticed slight changes in me. I tend to urinate more often and I tend to be quite thirsty on a regular basis. I barely eat chocolates or candy or anything sweet to be honest. I had these same symptoms a few years ago but then I used to eat quite a bit of chocolates. What I did then was stop eating candy and sweets. Then I showed no symptoms of diabetes whatsoever. The problem now is that I only ate a little bit of sweets and I'm showing these symptoms again. The only other reason I can think of is that I went to Europe for 1 month and I drank more Coke than usual(usually I drink 1 500 ml Coke a month). But then again, I walked for a minimum of 5 hours each day. Excluding that, I am physically healthy. I have a high rate of metabolism. I have brilliant stamina. I go to the gym every now and then. However, the only symptoms of diabetes that I saw in me was getting continually thirsty and a lot more urination. What do you recommend I should do? Run on the treadmill for an hour a day? Stop eating anything sweet for a whole month? Any sort of advice would be appreciated, thanks.
