My blood sugar keeps dropping low hours after eating! Do I have Reactive Hypoglycemia? Should I be worried? I did a finger prick to check and it was 4.2 and my CGM wasn’t much higher so I took 2 Lift glucose tabs and I have eaten some nuts and now I’m back in range! I’m more worried now about the lows than the highs! IMG_2349.png

Hi,
According to the graph, no, I would say.
However, you may be experiencing similar symptoms as one.
Not having read any of your posts, I am not aware of the circumstances.
Symptoms similar to reactive hypoglycaemia will cause T2. And your normal blood glucose levels are around diabetes level which is over 7 mmols.
Many T2s have sugar crashes.
It is well known that even non diabetic can have them.
The difference is not the symptoms but the episodes of hypoglycaemia levels of under 3 mmols.

Very unlikely.
You're a newly diagnosed T1 on insulin, and finding the right dose takes time and experience.

Hypoglycemia is the result of a bit too much insulin.
In T1's, this is the injected insulin which needs some tweaking, in people with reactive hypoglycemia it's their own body overreacting with insulin after food.

Your graph looks very nice, although I understand that 4.2 is a little too close to hypo levels for you.
However, the 2 glucose tabs nicely took you up again, well handled. :)
4.2 is not a hypo, it's a healthy number, but because you are on insulin, it's anumber you might want to nudge up a little to make sure you don't drop below 4.
