Do you like drinking tea to cut your diabetes?

I love drinking tea all the time, okay, actually herbal infusions. All these different herbs are probably good for everything ;)

I apologise for being interested in numbers, not sure why but there you go.

My actual daily carbohydrate intake is less than 100gms per day, usually. My recommended daily carbohydrate intake is over 300 gms per day. A glass of ordinary squash contains about 25 gms of carbohydrate, in the form of sugar. So, an 8.5 % cut in carbohydrate reduces the risk of developing diabetes by 25%. RESULT! Therefore, as most people on this forum will agree, I hope, people eat too many carbohydrates.
You see I got mislead by the orange squash bit, it's irrelevant, we all know it's not just sugar, it's carbs, which includes sugars.

Not all teas taste the same. I like a nice black darjeeling first flush. Very light and gentle with little tanning or caffeine. Now what I really do not like is earl gray but that is the oil they add

I love Earl Grey too, without milk now, with or without a slice of organic lemon. So far, I prefer Clipper organic. The oil added, is that bergamot ? I can't drink Earl Grey ad infinitum though because it give me a sore throat :(

Since being diagnosed T2 I've switched from Sainsbury's Red Label and Brooke Bond Taj Mahal, to Sainsbury's organic Everyday and Clipper organic Earl Grey and from skimmed UHT milk to fresh organic whole milk and then no milk. Mostly, I follow my tastebuds.
