Hi there
I wanted to ask if anyone has had aproblem with their toenail? It's on my big toe on the right foot. It looks like blood under the nail and its been there for about 3months. I haven't had any injury or trauma to the nail and it has never hurt. The blood area is on the right side of my nail and covers about 75%. I saw a GP in january and she said it could be fungal and to go back in 3 weeks, well it was 5 weeks before I saw her again and she said I was to take a toenail clipping and it would be tested at the hospital, but apparantley it can take weeks. I now have an appointment with a Dematologist tomorrow at noon in a new 'One stop 'clinic. Even minor operations can be carried out and everything is done there on that day with no follow ups. As I don't drive and if I need any 'minor surgery' would I be ok to walk and bus back home.
It probably is fungal, it just stays there and does nothing. So has anyone had medication or treatment for a possible fungal toenail or something similar? I just don't like the idea of a Doctor proding, probing and poking
god what a load of P's.
Thanks very much in advance
