Does Amoxicillin raise blood sugars? Type 1.5 on Novorapid and Tresiba at night

Started antibiotics Thursday for a chest infection. I had struggled to keep my sugars to one digit a few days before being prescribed these - now it’s more of a struggle.
No sleep whatsoever as post nasal drip even though I’m propped up on 3 pillows! Coughing so hard nearly sick.
Currently have a electric diffuser creating steam with rosemary and eucalyptus but wanted advice on my sugars please.

I would very much suspect its actually the infection/illness rather than the amoxicillin and it sounds like you haven't got over that yet, and no sleep will probably not be helping matters here either

If your doctors/hospital have given you sick day rules you should follow those until you have recovered from the infection/illness

@GuidingSenses Sick Day Rules are recommendation to adjust insulin doses when we are ill to manage the glucose our livers re dumping to deal with the lurgy.
