I'm trying to find out if there is a correlation between the amount of carbs eaten and the amount/weight of sugar/glucose released into the blood. I guess it would vary depending upon the individual but I can't find any information at all courtesy of Google, not even a clue. I'm working on an awareness raising art installation - if I can get the information! Peace and love to all xxx

It is indeed individual. There are a few foods (the big baddies) that raise blood glucose levels even in small quantities for most of those with T2 or Pre Diabetes but I have necer seen figures that would even remotely apply to all.

I think the projet is going to prove difficult! Thank you for your input x

I hope this little factoid may help. In a euglycaemic individual the amount of sugar in the whole body is about 4-5g (a teaspoon), your ordinary can of Coke has 8-9 teaspoons of sugar.
