So, am a new member and I was just wondering over a question.. Whenever I use deodorants of any brand I get these horrible rashes that burn and itch and are extremely uncomfortable.. My doc had adviced me not to use deodorants and to just use talcum powder.. Well that's it.. Does anyone else have a similar situation?

I've always had sensitive skin even before I got diabetes so opt for non-perfume soaps and deodorants.

Ok.. I could use deodorants before I was diagnosed with t1 and started insulin but ever since then I can't use any deodorants..

I use a rock salt deodorant, you get it from health food shops & looks like a roll-on. You have to make it wet to use, but I find it works better than sprays & lasts longer. Just don't use after shaving.
