Does anyone have a Carb or Cheat Day

Why would we shoot you down?

I'll bet there isn't a person on here who hasn't backslid at some point.

There have been times when I've moved backwards further, faster and longer than I care to admit.

But one day, we pick ourselves up and go forwards again. Because we have to.

Are you looking forward to going back to work?

I don't think that the majority of the wonderful people on the forum would shoot me down. But. Diet is quite emotive here.
Looking forward to going back to work? Oh my days yes. I am so bored. I think that's the problem :(

My next A1c is due in October, if it's higher I can justify it by saying I've been eating the NHS healthy plate :woot:

I had burger, onion rings and a burrito yesterday then had rice and chips was out the whole day!!:) I cheat when I'm out with people it's hard not to. Or if we were on a restaurant that doesn't serve healthy eats then it's usually a problem... I don't test my blood glucose Cos I knew i would be high. I have good blood glucose control otherwise and strict with exercise and diet. But I'm good most of the time, it's the social events that I cannot resist.

I dream of days like that. I'm planning a couple of dgaf days at Xmas. I'm about to have my first set of blood tests since diagnosis if they are as much of an improvement as I am hoping I will deffo be having a couple of days off at Xmas :-)
