Type 1 Does anyone have any ways of getting oneself feeling normal again after a long hypo?

Unfortunately had a sleep hypo that went on for a few hours and woken up feeling extremely yuck.

Wondering if people have any kind of rituals that help make them feel normal again ptetty sharpish?

I am sorry you experienced a hypo in the night.
I know what you mean about feeling "yuck". I call these my "hypo hangovers" and have no great ritual to feel normal sharpish although the best hangover cures help me get on my way - pain killers for the headache, drink plenty of water and have hypo treatments close to hand because one hypo can lead to another.

Since using Libre, I have experienced far less of these. If you have a Libre, I recommend setting your low alarm to something above a hypo which will give you a chance to have a quick snack before getting so low you that you get the hypo.
 
Personally I find if I have a hypo when sleeping I feel like **** for most of the following day , even after I’ve cured it, I think it’s because when you’re sleeping you get into a full hypo before you wake well it does for me , so the after effect is worse, I’ve managed to cure this by setting my Libre alarm at 4.2 as said by @In Response so i get an alarm before I’m near hypo level , as soon as my alarm goes off I treat for a hypo even though Im not feeling hypo ,

This is important, I always advise patients to set there's above 4mmols due to the lag that comes with FSL2.

Hmmm, I get a ten minutes heads up using Diabox with the L2. (Set at 3.9.) it does a better job of chopping sense into the sensor’s algorithm than Librelink.

Though I’m fully hypo aware, the advanced warning takes the edge of the hypo when it comes. Limiting the amount of time low & the severity…

The difficulty at night when woke on “one.” Is not to over treat the low, thus waking feeling like I had a heavy night.
