Hi,
@Darterr and welcome to the forum.
If you look at the reasons for people getting diabetes (excepting T1) and other endocrine conditions. Everyone has a different story, even though the way to test and diagnose these conditions are very similar, hba1c test, then other tests. It is not as simple with treatment.
There are many, many differences and reasons why we got here.
So when the NHS Or your doctor, tells you that the treatment may involve meds, lifestyle changes, food, exercise, or change something that you are doing, then that will be different from everyone else.
One size does not fit all!
So, when I found out what was making me ill, through using a glucometer or you could use a cgm, and a food diary to log everything, to see what food is doing to your blood glucose levels.
We are all different! We have different tastes, likes, hates, affordability, and so on.
Bottom line, you should be finding, discovering what food to miss, it will probably be carbs, sugary foods and starchy vegetables. A balanced dietary regime, tailored to you.
You will get there, just take it easy on yourself, get your balance right.
Keep asking.
Best wishes
