Interested to know if black coffee alone does this to anyone. Happens to me, had to give it up.

I miss coffee and chocolate but no way can I handle any slip ups.
I read something recently about how we might all be giving up coffee soon anyway - if global warming is happening (I'm not getting into that argument), then coffee will become extinct as it requires a very specific temperature range to grow:I do not notice any effect on my BG from coffee or caffeine, but I have never consumed a huge amount at any stage, and now prefer to use the best beans I can afford, and probably only have 5 cups a week.
The amount of Caffeine and Sugar being consumed daily due to the Western worlds current obsession with Coffee will not end well, that's for certain.
Then I stumbled across the fact that while it didn't impact my blood glucose, it was driving my blood pressure up into hypertension.
What do you add in your cup of coffee/tea? sweeteners? Milk? Do you drink after a meal or with a snack?Interested to know if black coffee alone does this to anyone. Happens to me, had to give it up.
