does diabetiess make you feel lgiht headed ,shakey and weird

hi ,
a week now trying to eat healthy and having lots of great advice here , I have been walking to :crazy: which is good for me ,
but today I feel very light headed , shakey , and my body feels a bit hmmmmmm don't know how to describe it ,, my sugars this morning was 4.7 , I had two brown wholemeal bread breakfast , 2 hours later blood sugars were 5.5 .
im not on med at moment , diet controlled , I am a big girl , and lots of weight to loose ,
anyone have any advice ,

Hi sandy, first off those numbers are great. From the symptoms you described I would think it is just your body getting used to your new routine, the new diet, exercise and most importantly lower/normal bg levels. Keep up the good work, however if symptoms do persist/worsen seek gp advice.

If your bg has been running high for a long time and you start to control your diabetes you can experience False Hypo's, this is just your body adapting to the lower levels and the symptoms should pass over soon, if your unsure then go and get a check-up at your doctors.
