Does LCHF Diet cause bad breath

I know this sounds like a strange thing to ask but when i was talking with my mum the other day about my dad and how they changed or tried new diets when he was diagnosed she mentioned that the LCHF or Atkins diet caused "Bad Breath" !!1

She said a lot of her friends had tried it and found the same.

So is it true?? .. I was planning to get a few books and get right into it after the North Run ,, but the thought of having honking breath as a side affect is lets say less than appealing.

LOL! I've done the 'Breath test' on my missus and she say's it's all good and believe me-she tells it like it is and doesn't do subtlety so she would soon say!

I am/was in Ketosis when I asked for the 'sniff test' and no-ones ever complained.

Yes it does, with me and my hubby anyway, nothing a bit of (sugar free) mints can't handle though (I alway keep some in my pocket) however my blood sugars have never been better.
