I've now been diagnosed type 1 (most likely LADA, type 1.5) for just over a week. My DNS has left me on metformin as well as insulin (Levemir and Novarapid). I guess at some point I'll end up coming off the metformin. I can't say I have proof it's doing anything, but on the flip side, I can't say I have proof that it isn't helping!</blockquote>
