Does milk affect BS level

In my experience milk does raise my bs in fact when first diagnosed in 1980 a glass of milk with two teaspoons of sugar was the way a hypo was treated in hospital

Hi everyone
I am at the very top end of pre diabetic range and am trialling a continuous monitor at the moment. Can anyone please advise if milk in latte coffee affects Bs, if so is full fat or skimmed better/worse, there are conflicting reports on Dr Google. What alternatives to cows milk are best ? Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you like real creamy coffee try adding a teaspoon of unsalted butter. I know this might sound a bit weird but trust me here, it’s worth a try. Far less carbs and imho tastes great
