Should all T2's have retinol screening My husband was recently diagnosed with T2 GP and the DN did not say anything about retinol screening. He is going for his yearly eye test today first one since he was diagnosed so he will tell the optician about the diabetes

The Retinal Screening service should get in touch soon, if not then mention this to his gp. It's better that your husband tells the optician about his recent diagnosis, the more information they have to hand the better Annie.

Good, as type 2 can go undiagnosed for some time it's important that he has the retinal eye screening, hope he gets word back soon Annie.
