Does this mean better care?

Anything that removes some of the top heaviness in the NHS has to be a much needed improvement and to close hospital and/or units because of flawed info also has to be halted.

When our local hospital was face with a huge down grading and loss of the A&E, the fighting group did its own checking & research and found 'serious discrepancies' in the official fact and figures used to bolster the downgrading team. The outcome of it all was a complete withdrawal of the threats and now the 'friends' are in the process of funding a new cancer unit once the previously funded project is up and running (a new MRI unit).

The proof of the pudding etc comes to mind, but we do really have to give the coalition a chance after 13yrs of NHS mismanagement under New Labour.
 
Time will tell, we have heard the same old rhetoric from previous health ministers before him, as ever actions speak louder than words, so we shall wait and see! :roll:
