Does waiting to find out answers make you nervous?

Can you get an opinion from a cardiologist? Expensive perhaps (private is faster) but will put your mind at rest. Not sure how much GPs are trained in heart issues?

Well I just saw my GP earlier today and he said my heart was fine aside from a mildly enlarged aorta and handed me the report. I got home and read it and now I'm not too sure I am fine from what I'm reading as aside from talking about the aorta and how I should be checked again in a few years and also to check for family history of aorta problems.... it also mentions I have mild LV diastolic dysfunction. I gather that is saying my blood flow isn't as good. But I'm not sure if that is classed a normal. I was quite happy until I actually read the report and now I'm unsure. But my GP thinks my digestive problems would certainly be causing high BP as he said that is a pain response. I'm not sure whether he actually read it right through properly as he seemed to be reading it real quick in front of me and not sure he has seen it before he looked at it with me. I do have hypertension so maybe it has something to do with that as well. But right now I'm thinking I need to ask him a couple of questions after reading the report through.... so will follow that up.

That's good news about your heart being fine ( although I think we still question 'some bits and pieces' when we get results back )
