Hi, I've been using the Libre for 3 months and just wondered if anyone else has had the same issue I've had with my reader.
I keep it in my pocket and on 7 or 8 occasions have found it has switched itself on (from the sleep mode) and then set various options such as resetting the date and time, setting reminders and adding notes.
I spoke to Abbot's support team and they'd never heard of it happening. Just wondered if it's a problem with me and my pocket or if it may be more common.
Yes, I have the same problem, but on the other hand - I have a lot of other stuff also in my pockets, so keys and coins could possibly contribute to the problem...
Edited to add: Does not happen too often though...
Just like mike@work mine does turn itself on rarely but its normally after I've been getting/putting coins or something else out of/into my pockets, I then find out when it buzzes to say I've taken to long to scan anything and it turns itself off again.Never had to reset the date, time or anything else
Hi, thanks for your replies, I was beginning to worry if it's me. Abbot are now sending me a replacement but I just thought it would be handy to see how widespread this might be.
I've knocked the button a few times and been told by the buzz that it's not scanned, but nothing random.
On a related note, my top tip for the reader is to press the power button three times after a scan to turn it off rather than waiting for it to do so itself. Hardly ever have to charge it now.
