Forgot to turn my TBR off my pump before bed, 3:15am now and have been hypo for 45 mins :(

That'll teach me!

Ulp - bad luck @claire1991 ! Hope you're feeling much better this morning.

With your pump do you have to manually cancel a TBR, then? Mine time-expires (according to the length of time I've programmed it for). This can be a little embarrassing when it starts vibrating and playing me a tune to remind me that it has expired and I happen to be in the middle of a meeting or something....

:)

@claire1991
i am assuming the TBR was an increase on normal basal rate for you to go hypo ??
can you confirm and then an appropriate punishment will be awarded :D:eek:
( only kidding hope you are back to normal );)

Morning guys!
Feeling much better this morning :)

I have a TBR of 180% running throughout the day because of my pregnancy and it normally times out before I go to bed because it's set for 12 hours. However, I had an infusion set and cartridge change yesterday evening so had to set it again so it started from the beginning because the pump cancelled it when I turned it off :(

Punishment is required for being such a silly billy!!

It might be easier to change your basal rather than use a TBR. If you have different basal types on your pump, you can keep your normal basal for goung back to when you give birth, and use your 'pregnancy basal' for now.

Glad you're feeling better! Thanks for explaining about the TBR - makes perfect sense!

'One of those things' rather than 'silly billy', I'd say!

:)

bless you hun -- i have a hard enough time just looking after myself -- couldn't imagine coping like all you ladies do with a pregnancy on top:)

It's not easy!

It'll all be worth it in the end though :)
(Won't be doing it again in a hurry!)

@azure that's a good idea, I tend to fiddle about with it from week to week, my basal has already trebled on the pump and now I'm having to put it up again, it goes up around 10-30% every week and I find it easier (because I'm lazy) to just set a TBR!
