hi all
been sticking to a low carb diet since middle of March and lost almost a stone and bg level dropped to good levels, but sometimes my levels can be about 5/6 before exercise and then afterwards be 8/9, how can this be if I am working out? I usully do an hour or hour and a half on moderate to quite intensive exercise (gym or dvd workouts), also this is about an hour or so after eating that I start exercising.
Also not been feeling well with throat infection, could this cause my bg levels to go up. Need to put it on here so I am not kidding myself, that last week wasn't good at all, kids easter eggs everywhere, bank hols etc etc, I know they are excuses but went off the rails a bit and started feeling s**t again and bg levels in double figures, so now back on the straight and narrow, no choc and cutting carbs as this seems to work, just sometimes I feel like I am being so strict with myself that I 'fall off the wagon' spectacularly sometimes. Any feedback, comments, pats on the back or kick up the butt welcome
