I have reduced my BG levels considerably recently and was waiting to start feeling a lot better but to be honest I don't feel any different, apart from my eyesight improving. I've had a massive family crisis this week and have gone off track (pizza) on 2 different nights. My BG shot up but it doesn't make me feel awful or in fact any different. Is this normal?

One of the problems of diabetes is that it can be symptom free and people don't know that they have it until too much damage is done. Though long term bad control can make you liable to infections and illness, but I doubt that a short off the rails will show up in how you feel. I find that if I have too much sugar it can effect my moods the next day, but then if you are having a hard time then if this happened it could be caused by other factors.
