I just wasted a dose of my Ozempic pen! It’s my 3rd dose. I forgot to take off the second cap. When I pulled away, the liquid was rolling down my skin. I checked what I did wrong and then injected correctly. I am wondering what will happen with the timing of refilling my next prescription. Do you think they’ll make me wait a week without it? Btw, it’s working fantastic! I am not hungry and eating low carb diet. I’m brand new to the group, so hi y’all from Texas USA.

Hi @Cheryl1957 and welcome to the forum. I take it you are on the weekly dose of Ozempic. As this is a UK forum you may not receive any replies to your particular problem. However I would just contact whoever prescribes the medication and explain what happened.
I take Rybelsus which is the tablet version of Ozempic and agree, it’s working well for me too.

Hi and welcome to the forum @Cheryl1957 . I’m sure losing your med that way sucked. I’m North of the border in Canada. I would go back to the pharmacy where your prescription was dispensed and explain what happened. Hopefully you will have a sympathetic pharmacist who will replace it for you. That’s what I would do. It’s worth a go.
