Type 1 Double vision

Hi there,

I was diagnosed with type 1 in January. Over the weekend I ended up with high glucose levels due to a few beers and a curry. Since then I’ve been having issue with double vision, has anyone else encountered this before? If so how long did it last?

Do you mean a blurred vision (which is usual with changing blood sugars)? Or a proper double vision? If the latter, I'd call a doctor to ask about it.

Double vision, if I close one eye it’s fine. I’m planning on calling about it tomorrow but just looking to see if it’s anything people have experienced before.

This doesn't sound like the blurry vision associated with diabetes. I'd make sure to make that clear to your GP or whoever you call tomorrow as well, all too often every health issue is attributed to diabetes.
 
I sometimes get double vision when hypo in the low 2's!
