Dr Jason Fung & Prof Roy Taylor both trying to mimic bariatric surgery ?

The general consensus for exercise seems to be that it's great at keeping weight off / maintaining but not very effective for losing weight. Doing excessive exercise will of course help you lose weight, but it's not practical to maintain in the long run for most people, who don't have a ton of time to be down the gym.

I've been advised to lose the weight through diet, and then maintain by upping exercise if I feel myself putting it back on. Kind of a constant balancing act!
