Dr. Malcom Kendrick on Statins

It is certainly an eyeopener.

Thanks for that LGC.

And now it begs the question that if someone newly diagnosed with ALS stopped taking the statins, would it halt the progression? Or is the damage, once started, both progressive and inevitably terminal?

I suspect it will be a loooong time until that is established.

At last a sensible reason for the "Brain Fog"............so its not just "Old Age" as some Drs would have us believe.........I stopped taking them a while back, luckily most of the muscle spasms have stopped and the brain fog has lessened.........I just wish I hadn't taken them at all.

The statistics are frightening. It makes me wonder about a close family friend who developed a heart condition some years ago and was prescribed statins and now has ALS I know I will never under any circumstances ever take a statin again.

If something needs lowering or making higher, try the most natural means first, and only as a last resort take drugs long term is my view.
