Found another celeb who has the dreaded DM yesterday - you might know him from his hosting of the US version of the comedy improv show Who's Line Is It Anyway?
If you don't look him up on YT viz:

Anyway, Drew has lost a lot of weight thanks to sticking to a strict no-carb diet.
"No carbs," he said. "I have cheated a couple times, but basically no carbs, not even a cracker. No bread at all. No pizza, nothing. No corn, no beans, no starches of any kind. Egg whites in the morning or like, Greek yogurt, cut some fruit."

He added that he drinks only water and does lots of cardio.

But this is where it goes a bit awry... says "He used to have type II diabetes but no longer." Hmm.
This is what he said: "I'm not diabetic anymore. No medication needed" ..... delusional or still the joker?

How does he get the carbs out of the fruit before he eats them? I don't think a no carb diet would be possible.

. delusional or still the joker?
Probably both Jim

Follow the links to other reports
we have 'no carb', actually it seems to be a no starch diet as he eats fruit, (as Sid says strange fruit!) egg whites(suggests low fat)
snacking on fruit, meals of chicken and veg
45 min of cardio per day
and from the Daily Mail ' a series of injections of a custom made appetite suppressant administered by a Hollywood nutritionist' which apparently made him have no desire to eat so that he found it difficult to eat the small portion of fish he had for dinner.

Sounds like an old fashioned low fat, low carb, very low calorie, crash diet to me. If the appetite suppresant story is true then he might find it very difficult to maintain his new weight.

Actually, do I care? I don't even know who he is
