Drinking wine with meal reduces risk of developing T2 by 14%

All I know is that when I was first diagnosed back in 2014 my lovely nurse told me to have a glass every evening with a meal but NOT to treat it as a diabetes medication! I have a couple of glasses every evening, one before I eat as an aperitif, and one after.

Is that on prescription?

The NHS in the form of NICE used to recommend it in the days when they included diet advice. Now it is just Eatwell. ho hum.
