is there anyone else out there who is type 1 insulin dependant and drives emergency vehicles for a living? ( ambulance, fire, polie)
i am currently off work having had a baby and i developed type 1 whilst pregnant. i was looking forward to returning to my previous post in road policing, no boo's please, however i have just been informed that dvla have a blanket ban on emergency vehicle drivers and its looking like ill be driving a desk when i go back. my consultant is fighting my corner but has anyone else out there had a similar experience?
