The issue is, I believe, one of whether a particular person is a risk to themselves or others by driving - whatever might be causing that problem. It would be no consolation to the loved one of someone killed by someone who was not able to fully concentrate on their driving that it was a specifically female medical issue that was causing it. When I was diagnosed with sleep apnoea, I immediately contacted DVLA because I knew that I could not guarantee that I would not fall asleep at the wheel. My license was revoked knew as I suspected that it should be. I would rather that than cause an accident. You have said that you had a loss of concentration and confusion. Do you think that you were not a risk to yourself and others by driving?
