Having read the pros and cons of having to inform my Insurance Co. and DLVA I became worried, so I decided to err on the safe side and inform my Ins.co. Directline that I had been diagnosed with Type 2. A nice young scottish lady agent listened to my information and explained that Directline were not interested in the information and that it would not affect my policy in any way. But she said that she would add a note to my details saying that I had given them the information anyway.
Same thing applies to DLVA if your limbs are fully functional and your eyesight is not impaired you do not have to inform them. Still baffled Kayabee
