I'm as of today... Drug free.
In a years time will be put down as in remission if I keep this up And been advised to stop losing weight

So pleased
 
It's all you now, must be an amazing feeling.
Proof how the human body can heal when stressers are removed.

Thanks for the kind comments. I wanted to highlight that there are success stories and that it’s so much a shared success as you all helped me!

My diabetic nurse today talked about dropping carbs being fine, and that you don’t need any; that she does intermittent fasting and I could look at that if I wanted. she said also she only eats a small amount of carbs prior to doing some intensive exercise to help for energy and that I could do that (small oatmeal and apple perhaps)

she also talked about eating Greek yoghurt and berries

she also said I should increase protein in order to maintain weight. And that even though bmi is pretty much in the centre of the NHS that the weight I’m at I should stay at, as losing more could cause issues

I was a bit shocked in a nice way

May have eaten an Easter egg to celebrate. May regret that tomorrow, oh well.... one off!
