I am sensitive to any form of carbohydrates , just a nibble of anything with carbs set's my blood glucose levels on a long hike. Is there a way to prevent or reduce the effects of drugs that affect normal people and set them onto a diabetic path?
I know of the negative prolonged exposure of diuretics to normal people but is there a sort of antidote or detection method? I live with a seriously chronic diabetic and I am worried that he is somehow using an off the shelf diabetic drug to make my body unbalanced. I have recently been unable to control my blood sugar and even the doctors don't feel competent of diagnosing me since my condition is extremely strange.
Anyone with experience on the negative effects of diabetic drugs on non-diabetic people should feel free to input their knowledge on this subject since I am so curious especially on the lab tests that can be done in-order to detect such an event.
