hi all, I've been fighting the good fight for three years now, over this time I have had increasingly dry scalp. Has any one else had this problem ?

It's possible that you have Psoriasis on your scalp (another Auto Immune condition that is common in Diabetics). I get it from time to time and find that Neutrogena T-Gel works wonders when it flairs up, and then good old fashioned Vosene does the job the rest of the time. I also find that Anti-Dandruff shampoos make it worse.

If you've not had your scalp looked at by a Dr then I suggest you do so @Needles!!, they may be able to prescribe something to clear the dry scalp up or refer you over to a dermatologist.

I use Johnson's baby shampoo and a organic coconut shampoo from Savers. Sometimes my scalp does get dry and itchy so I use organic olive oil or organic coconut oil on my hair and wrap it in an old towel before rinsing and you'd be surprised how much hair soaks up - that seems to help.
