DUH..spot the idiot

My other half , thought she would bake a loaf in our bread maker, yeah it smelt luverly, and was antisapating it comming out,,,,it came out alright, all over the worktop like a blob from another planet, about the size of a dustbin lid, she had doubled up on all the ingrediants, but set the timer for a normal loaf :oops: ...needless to say we now stick to Bergen :wink:

I have just made it, and eaten it without too much damage to my bg, and posted the recipe on the low carb recipe thread.
 
Here's one I did last year - No, I don't know what possessed me to break a digestive biscuit into my soup instead of the granary bread. Couldn't understand the strange taste of my soup until, giving up and going back through to the kitchen, I found my slice of bread still sitting there beside the open biscuit jar. D'uh.
 
I made dumplings(pre db) with wholemeal flour but forgot to put the raising agent in .They were so heavy that we fed them to the birds .They needed a runway to take off :lol: .
