Hi I'm hoping someone can offer me a glimmer of hope. Yesterday I had the dreaded field of vision test at specsavers I've had laser in both eyes so was a requirement of the DVLA. I done a total of 4 tests 2 failed on false positives - I cant even begin to tell you the emotional state I was in doing the test! The best result without too many false positives was 6 missed spots 2 on the left and 2 on the right the very last line and there were 2 in the bottom quadrant but not next to each other and not in the 20 degree fixation. My total efficiency score was 95 on the best test. I did have 1 test where I only missed 1 light but failed because of the false positives. Just wondering if anyone knows whether 6 missed points would still meet the DVLA criteria I've looked online and it says the criteria is no more than 3 adjoining missed points in a cluster on the horizontal which I haven't I have 2 together on the left and the 2 on the right are a few lights apart also the adjoining points are vertical not horizontal. I'm just in such a state at the moment shaking, can't sleep, can't eat and vomiting it's all such a worry. I know feeling like this is not doing my diabetes any good either. So is there anyone out there that can offer a little advice and possibly reassurance. Thanks All x
