Hi can anyone please explain How it works please ......I had my test yesterday. Three attempts that all get sent off. 1st two I missed the same three dots but 3rd test i only missed one dot (a different one from the other two tests) what is the criteria to pass? Is it am overall average on the three or the fact I only missed one dot on last attempt will be ok?

The rules for assessing field of vision are

the following are acceptable central loss
  • scattered single missed points
  • a single cluster of up to 3 adjoining points
the following are acceptable when assessing the width of field
  • a cluster of up to 3 adjoining missed points, unattached to any other area of defect, lying on or across the horizontal meridian
  • a vertical defect of only single-point width but of any length, unattached to any other area of defect, which touches or cuts through the horizontal meridian
