I was put on insulin in Jan but it did not agree with me as i had lumps, itching and red sore areas around the injection site. I have now seen a consultant who has changed my medication and put me back on tablets and I am feeling better. Does anyone know if I tell the DLA Will I be bale to get my licence changed back to normal or have to stay on the 3 years one. Thanks P
 
Hi,
give DVLA a ring and explain what has happened. There is no reason to keep you on a retricted licence, so suspect they will tell you to return it with a letter from you GP and or consultant to say you are on meds now.

If you do need to go down the insulin root again perhaps try animal insulin.
