Early days low carb

Hi, I've only been strict with low carb this week and am finding my levels have improved.

4 weeks ago I had a steroid injection in my back so consequently I had to more than double my insulin requirements. I have gained 3 kilos in weight and feel bloated, my face, feet and especially my abdomen have blown up.

I'm able now to reduce insulin but feel disappointed that the weight isn't shifting. I walk everyday for 30 mins, which isn't much but owing to the edema it's not comfortable to walk.

Is it too soon to expect a weight loss and anyone else had similar after steroid injections?

Thanks

I found the combination of low carb and walking really helped me lose the kgs.

I would suggest giving it a bit longer to get over the jag and it's effects.
Good luck.

Same here.

Have no problem losing weight. I'm reaching the point where I need to maintain. I'm down from a tight 38 waist to a comfortable 34.
Bet that jab is stalling things.
