Hi,
I wanted to share this with everyone because I have been suffering with RH for about 9 years and sometimes its good and sometimes it's bad no matter what I do or eat. But I recently had some problems so was looking to change or refine my diet yet again to try and help myself recover. I started to eat more protein 1.8 grams of protein per 1 kg of body weight and added veg to just about every meal I eat and I also changed how I ate the food. So I eat the protein first, then the veg and then the carb. I can now go in the morning from eating every 2.5 hours to 3.5 hours (morning only the rest of the time it's 2.5 hrs). Which isn't much when you really think about it, but I have felt so much better and it felt eppic after so long and have less hypos.
So my breakfast menu consists of half a tin of tuna, some veg, 2 eggs and half a piece of Baker Street seeded rye bread (I can only find this at Sainsburys) with peanut butter. And really it works like a bomb.
So just thought I would share it. Hope it helps.
